National Youth Violence Prevention Week 2024

Young people deserve to feel safe and supported wherever they are. This extends beyond a sense of security to include being able to express their authentic selves and experience equity.

To celebrate a strength of community and amplify youth voices, the Violence Prevention Institute's Center for Youth Equity at Tulane University is honoring National Youth Violence Prevention Week along with its partners NOLAHYPE, Coalition for Compassionate Schools, Institute for Women & Ethnic Studies, New Orleans Health Department, and Children's Hospital.

Our NYVPW events are free and open to public. We hope connecting in community inspires action toward a future where all young people have the opportunity and support to thrive.
