Rae Stevenson, PhD

Rae Stevenson is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Taylor Center, specializing in social science research that combines participatory action research, arts-based methods, and counter-storytelling. She is also the Director of Streetlight, an initiative of the Center for Youth Equity and Violence Prevention Institute that aims to empower New Orleans youth to create social change through arts-based inquiry and action.

Noelle Martin

Noelle Martin is a Program Coordinator at the Center for Youth Equity. They have been a Teaching Assistant for the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Child Advocacy Studies (CAST) course and the Violence Prevention Seminar course. Noelle also works in the Behavioral and Neurodevelopmental Genetics Laboratory in the Child Psychiatry department at Tulane’s School of Medicine, where they do research focused on how early experiences shapes child neurodevelopment and long-term health outcomes.

Hannah Gilbert, MSHCM, MBA

Hannah Gilbert, MSHCM, MBA, is the Senior Program Manager of Training & Education for the Center for Youth Equity. Hannah coordinates the Pincus Violence Prevention Scholarship and works closely with the VPI administrative team. She has been a Teaching Assistant for the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Child Advocacy Studies (CAST) course since its launch in 2017, working closely with faculty to develop, implement, and expand the CAST certificate program.

Alex L. Jaouiche, MPH

Alex Jaouiche is the Research Coordinator for the Enrichment to Empowerment program in the Center for Youth Equity. Graduating from Tulane School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine in 2022 with a Masters in International Health and Sustainable and a focus in Research Design and Analysis, Alex views research as a tool for social justice and advocacy work. Their research experience includes quantitative and qualitative analysis, clinical lab work, and policy evaluation.
