Biography

Hannah Gilbert, MSHCM, MBA, is the Senior Program Manager of Training & Education for the Center for Youth Equity. Hannah coordinates the Pincus Violence Prevention Scholarship and works closely with the VPI administrative team. She has been a Teaching Assistant for the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Child Advocacy Studies (CAST) course since its launch in 2017, working closely with faculty to develop, implement, and expand the CAST certificate program.

Hannah also works with the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (APSAC), an association of interdisciplinary professionals working to end child abuse, and serves on the No Hit Zone Committee as part of the National Initiative to End Corporal Punishment. She started her career at the New Orleans Children’s Advocacy Center and Audrey Hepburn CARE Center, two non-profit child abuse programs at Children’s Hospital New Orleans. She began as an undergraduate intern and continued as an AmeriCorps VISTA, Family Care Coordinator, and Community Relations Coordinator.

Hannah is passionate about providing training and leadership opportunities for the next generation of leaders in violence prevention.
