Biography

Dr. Gretchen Clum’s current work is focused on sexual violence on college campuses. She is currently conducting a pilot study of mindfulness as a violence prevention strategy, and she will be conducting a Sexual Violence Climate Survey on Tulane's campus. Dr. Clum has studied exposure to violence, mental health, substance use, and sexual risk behavior in vulnerable populations including HIV positive young women. She has an ongoing interest in exposure to violence, PTSD and health outcomes. She is interested in targeting mental health issues and bolstering resilience to prevent violence.
