Biography
Ethan Smith is a PhD Candidate in the Social, Behavioral, Population Sciences Department at the The Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Before starting his Doctoral Program, Ethan completed an MPH in Epidemiology from Tulane University. Ethan's main health areas are in Substance Abuse, Violence, and HIV/AIDS. He is particularly interested in using spatial methods to investigate upstream factors of drug overdose. In his free time, he enjoys biking and hanging out with his cat.
