Join us for an inspiring student showcase celebrating innovative work at the intersection of maternal and child health, nutrition, and violence prevention. This inaugural event brings together emerging leaders to share culturally responsive, community-engaged research and practice-based initiatives that are shaping healthier futures for families and communities.
As of January 5, 2026, we are accepting abstract submissions for this student showcase of innovative, culturally responsive, and community-engaged research, program development, or practice-based initiatives. Deadline is February 6, 2026.

This showcase is hosted by the Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health (CEMCH), Pincus Violence Prevention Scholarship Program, MCH Nutrition Leadership Training Program, and the Louisiana Collaborative for Excellence in Nutrition.
Event Highlights:
- Speaker Presentation (11:30 AM – 12:30 PM): Hear from featured presenters sharing innovative work in the field
- Poster Session (12:30 PM – 1:30 PM): Explore student-led research, program development, and practice initiatives developed in collaboration with academic institutions and community partners
