Focus Area

Reproductive Justice

Reproductive justice addresses the right to make informed, autonomous decisions about one’s reproductive health in a safe and supportive environment. Violence, inequity, and systemic barriers can limit access to reproductive care and impact individual and community well-being. Research in this area explores the intersections of reproductive health, coercion, and social determinants of health, guiding interventions, policy initiatives, and community programs that promote autonomy, safety, and equity.
