Liberation Youth Art Exhibition Gallery Opening

Downtown Campus
Tidewater Building
First Floor Auditorium

With artwork from over 20 New Orleans area artists ages 11 to 21, the Liberation Youth Art Exhibition envisions a future free from violence and provides insight into what young people need to thrive today and into adulthood.

Presented by the Center for Youth Equity and hosted by the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, the exhibit's opening will be Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm in the first floor Diboll Gallery at the Tidewater Building at 1440 Canal Street. Light refreshments will be served throughout the opening, and a brief award presentation will occur at 6:30 pm. An artist panel has reviewed the submissions and selected a Grand Prize and prizes in four separate age categories.

The art will remain on display through the end of January 2023 and then will be moved to the Violence Prevention Institute on the 15th Floor.

If you would like to attend the gallery opening, please let us know by Friday, December 2, 2022.
