Grant Amount: $119,046
The overall objective of this project is to gain a deeper understanding of the mechanisms through which early life adversity and chronic psychosocial stress lead to poor clinical and biological (i.e., allostatic load, telomere length) outcomes and the unique role that alcohol consumption plays in this pathway. We will also examine these patterns by sex, race and socioeconomic status and the intersection of these factors.
